A meeting of the United Christian Educational: '
Forum consisting of the managers and Principals was held on 29-3-2003 at Leonard Higher Secondary School. Denning Road, Civil Lines, Jabalpur.
The meeting started with prayer by Rev. J. C. Luke (principal, Satpula GHSS). The Principal of Leonard School,
Mr. Leonard Lobo, Chaired it. The suggestions of the ad-hoc committee were placed in tile meeting. The following were the Proposals of the ad-hoc committee, :-
1. Registration Fee Rs. 100/-
2. Yearly Membership Fee :
Nursery & Primary Schools Rs. 100/-
Middle Schools Rs. 200/-
Higher Scondary Schools Rs. 300/,.
College/Technical Institutes/Seminaries/Hostcls Rs. 500/-
3. Five Receipt Books of 50 leaves and three letter pads to be printed.
4. Constitution committee formed ,With the following member: Rev. Fr. Panka Toppo, Ms. Esther Singh, Fr.
George P.A., Mr. R. Donald, Mr. L. G. Lobo, Fr. Saji K. Mathew, Mr. Aseem Claudius and Mr. Francis Joseph.
Constitution Committee will make the constitution within 3 months
In the general meeting, following decisions were taken :
1. Name of the Association -United Christian Educational Forum M. P.
2. Registration Fee and Membership Fee -As proposed by the Ad-hoc Committee.
3. The membership forum should be acknowledged by the concerned Bishop and the Members should be
Christians.
4. Only Manager and Principal will participate in the forum meetings as a member; Only in the special
circumstances their representative will be given permission to attend the meeting by the authority letter;
5. Emergency meeting of the forum can be held at any time if called by the co-ordinator.
6. Recept Book will be printed each receipt book will have 25 pages and permission to print letter pad of the
forum, which will contants the address of the forum M.G.M. School, Hathital and also permitted to print to
residential address Mr. Francis Joseph.
7. To open an account, name of forum in any nationalize bank in which right of operating the account will be given to any of 2 member- Fr.. Saji Matthew, Francis Joseph, Ms. Esther Singh or Fr;panka Toppo.
In this occasion the problem of granted school was discussed in which most of the schools said that they have
paid the salary of teachers till Dec. 2002 Jan. 2003 & hope to get the grant by this week. They discussed the order by District Educational Officer, Jabalpur regarding not to sale book and uniform by Manager, taking of May-June fees, action against school do taking heavy fees and also objected to collect the expenditure of special programmed conducted in January month by Christian Schools interfere in the minorty'school authority. The manager and the principal present objected to cancel the recognisation of school having result less then 30% because it is known that government school result rates are low: In this occasion of recognisation specialist meeting school have shown unhappy towards the that schools had permanent recognisation but last year I year, 3 year, 5 year recognisation for school was given by District Educational Officer which is unfair beacause schools had permanent recognisation it is unfair to give threat by District Education Officer such to cancel the regonisation of school on every school activity because it is known that is Jabalpur city from long time christian institute are giving their contribution in educational field with devotion. In this occasion Mr. Asim
Claudius (Non-Governmental School, Manager forum, Jabalpur) said we are fighting aginst the District Educationl Officerc in the court for their recognition matter. Also in this occassion it was discussed that it is unfair regarding compulsion of one acre area by urban and 2 acre in rural for Higher Secondary School by Secondary Educational Board, Bhopal on this occasion the problem of Christ Church School was discussed also St. Joseph Convent Ranjhi (English Medium) was greeted for getting C.B.S.E. recognition. In this meeting it was said that those school who have to apply for recognisation in April should apply in time and this should be inform to forum so that the forum will give a letter to District Education Officer in Letter pad with recommendation.
The next meeting of the forum to organise Easter Milan Programme will be held on 21st April, 2003, 7.30 p.m. at
Shophia Primary and Middle School, Russel Chowk, Napier Town, Jabalpur At this occasion Fr. Moses Dantas, Director
of Prem -Sanchar announced 60 days music course during sunmer vacation. Other information Francis Joseph, Secretary Christian Writer forum informed that supplimentry of the Jabalpur Christian Directory 2003 will be Printing in coming 3 month which will highlight the institution of Jabalpur. So kindly 'give there advertisement and introduction of their Insititution to the forum. Today's programme ended with the prayer by the Fr. Panka Toppo. ,In this occasion Fr. The meeting started with prayers by Fr. Panka Toppo. Madan Shankuntala Martin read the lesson John 20:1-18 from the Holy Bible, Message was given by Pastor Solomon Stephan. He said in his message that we celebrate Christmasc with great joy but we should also celebrate Easter also in the same way. How much Lord Jesus suffered for us. If any child spite at his mother or father then the parents beat him But here the Lord was bitten by the 'people spitted on him crowned and with treated so that we should get brain
Mother Mary searches for him in the grave but he is alive, how can he be with the dead. She run and says this to every one.
We should celebrate Easter also with great joy so that every one will know that he is risen 2000 years ago, Everyone should know it.
Francis Joseph in his message said By witness, by behaviour, by Jesus, on the day of Lord's resurrection we should do good to the world, our institute should go forward with strong courage.
Everyone introduced themselves breifly. Member should give their membership fees as early as as possible.Main subject that is regarding fees is being cleared that government will not interfear
taking a school fee by management.
regarding the recognisation of school that 2-3 years recognisation should be given to many schools. 7-8 year should
apply for recognisation. Even after having a recognisation some people has again applied for recognisation. It has thought to go D.E.O. it is a clericle staff to do work taking people ill their hands. Spend money and work will be done. this is Difficult for the social working institute. It should be in Writing so .that we can believe by which orders are this given or should be included order number also. 16 schools list are being given we don't know what our officers are doing, real knowiedge is laking clerical staff is misguided us. ..

In children's progress card supplementary- should not be consult. Grade should be given to the Children. If the result of board exam are not good then recognisation will be cancelled. Recognisation is related to Boad exam of due to tuff or difficult question paper, result of the school is not good then recognisation should not be cancelled.
Nirmala School has some problems. We will conduct a seminar in future on the subject of minority rights in supreme court decision.
